Even though you are out in the woods for a walk you could collect some interesting leaves, plants or tree bark. If you were at the beach you could collect some shells and dried seaweed.

You could even recycle household items like toilet roll tubes or washing up liquid cartons when doing card making. You could cut them into different shapes and paint them when necessary. Indeed there are many ways by which you could embellish your card.
