The word scrapbook owes its origin in the middle of the 19th century at that time when technology change took place by providing people with enhanced papermaking and printing technology to ordinary people. If neither there were stories told nor books written, a man’s life would be no better than a beast, only living a day. We live in today but tomorrow, it will be just a story. This whole world where human life is the inhabitants is also a long story.

Scrapbooking these days can be done in many ways likemaking diaries and in today’s scenario the blogs on the internet are a way of creating the record of our lives, and to tell the stories of our life. Computer technology provides new ways for people to tell our stories. Some people blog, some people create digital scrapbooks online or on CD-ROM, and some people use the power of the computer to create a paper-based scrapbook.

Using pictures to create a record of our memories has always been a part of our culture. Look back to the early cave dwellers, they did it in stone, we have the luxury of being able to do the same thing on our computers.
